Artist's Description
I climbed up a huge boulder, balancing my tripod with a 15mm to try and absorb as much of this fantastic sunset as I could without losing footing. Even with such a wide angle on a full frame camera, It's hard to fit it all in sometimes. I tried to take as many pic as I could this night before the sun dropped out of view. It seems to go really fast when it gets down near the horizon.
About Stuart Deacon
I am a photographer from Winnipeg Manitoba Canada. I grew up travelling around the world with my dad, and have been to many wonderful places. He took lots of photos in his day and I never thought much of it, until I started taking my kids with me. Now it seems to be all I can ever do. I do take a lot of HDR photos as well as textured shots. I have spent a long time learning the ins and outs of some of the most complex photo software available, as well as learned straight from some of the worlds leading travel photographers. As a chef of over 15 years I have learned to harness my creative and artistic side.

This one is so fiery. You purples and oranges really help this photograph to stand out. Seems to even draw the eye into the photo to see more. I like it.
Stuart Deacon replied:
I agree how deep colours force you to find detail below the surface. Don't burn your retina;)
